After a deafening victory at a cybersport tournament, a team of gamers deliver the discs for a game that they have only just completed. Once it starts up, each of them is subjected to its effect, which turns their gaming skills into a reality so that in the real world they become better fighters, marksmen and racing drivers. This event does not go unnoticed, and the gamers are offered “work” through a mixture of blackmail, deception and bribery. However, as soon as this deception is revealed, it becomes clear that they are not heroes out to save their country, but merely hired killers. They must now decide on a course of action. The manufacturers still have a large quantity of discs, and the emergence of other professionals like themselves is only a matter of time. They now face the task of finding the stock of discs and destroying them or using them to create and lead an entire army of gamers and thus dictate their own terms.
